Pre-Registration XIX CSCC 2025
Those wishing to participate in the XIX CSCC 2025 should send the appropriate Pre-registration Form (as name.surname.pre-registration.doc format) to the Organising Secretariat by 30 March 2025 by e-mail (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it).

Please fill the specific form (registration form XIX CSCC 2025 attached) for the registration and send it via email to the School Secretary (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it) and to Prof. Luigi Lay (luigi.lay@unimi.it) by May 31st, 2025.

There is no registration fee for any accompanying persons and for their hotel accommodation please contact the Organising Secretariat directly.
Method of payment:
The registration fee must be paid by 31 May 2025 according to the modalities described in the appropriate registration form (form 3) and the receipt certifying the payment of the registration fee, must be sent by email to Prof. Luigi Lay (luigi.lay@unimi.it) and Dr. Felicia D’Andrea (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it).
The registration fee includes the Proceedings of the XIX CSCC 2025, coffee breaks and the welcome cocktail on the evening of Sunday 22 June 2025.
REGISTRAZIONE
Registration of participants will take place from noon on Sunday 22 June 2025 at the Certosa di Pontignano (Conference-School venue), Siena.
Abstract submission
Participants who wish to present a scientific communication are invited to indicate the type of communication (oral or poster) in the specific form (Application form 2025 attached), which must be sent as “surname.name.scheda.doc” to the School Secretary (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it) together with an abstract of the communication, saved as “surname.name.doc” with progressive numbering in the case of more than one abstract.
The Abstract, in English, must be submitted as an A4 page (text dimensions 18×24 cm, font Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, justified) with the Title (centred, capital letters and bold) followed by the Authors’ names (the name of the presenting Author must be underlined), followed by the Affiliation and the pertaining address (italic, font size 10). Bibliography must be indicated following the American Chemical Society guidelines (example Abs)
Deadline for Abstracts’ presentation 15 May 2025
The abstract must be sent via email to the School Secretary (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it)
Acceptance of the request to present a scientific contribution will be communicated to the Authors within the 22 June 2025 via email.
Abstract will be pubblished in a book of abstracts. A copy the book of abstract will be geven free of charg, to each regular partecipant. One for each partecipant.
Oral Communications (15 minutes): (English official language). Speaker could use a video projector. Presentations must be saved as Power Point for Windows file in a USB pen driver. It is not possible to use your own PC.
Poster communications: (English official language). Max allowed dimensions are 80 cm (width) x 120 cm (length). All the material to fix the poster will be provided by the Organizing Committee.
Fellowships
Fellowships are available to support the participation of young researchers (undergraduates, PhD students, Post Docs, etc) and will cover the Registration Fees and/or the Accommodation Fees (in a double or multiple room, full board treatment) at the Certosa di Pontignano.
The Divisione di Chimica Organica of the Società Chimica Italiana will provide a further four scholarships worth EUR 230 each.
Priority criteria for the felloships assignment are:
Membership of the Società Chimica Italiana and of the Gruppo Interdivisionale Chimica dei Carboidrati (GICC) (only for applicants active in an Italian Institution)
Oral communication contribution request
Those interested should send, by May 15th, 2025, the application file “borse.doc” (Application form 2023 attached) to the School Secretariat (felicia.dandrea@unipi.it), accompanied by the abstract of the scientific presentation (filename “surname.name.doc“), a brief curriculum vitae and a statement of the Research Director or the Director of the belonging Institution. The option to request the scholarship can be find also in the submission form of the scientific contributions (Application form 2025 attached).
The Organizing Committee will notify to the applicants of the application result via email.
