Polysaccharide-based Sustainable Edible Films Loaded with Bioactive Components for Food Packaging
Topics include but are not limited to:
• Development of polysaccharide-based edible films/coatings by different techniques including electrospining for packaging application.
• Edible films/coatings of polysaccharides to enhance the self-life of fruits, vegetables, meat and meat products, dairy products, etc.
• New techniques for fabrication, analysis and processing of polysaccharide-based edible films/coatings.
• Natural components including essential oils derived from plants or microbial metabolites used as bioactive components for encapsulation of edible food packaging materials.
